Block Surround

The Block Surround feature automates insertion and removal of frequently used character to make commenting text lines in- and out of current code less tedious.

This feature is currently under construction but you can use the following workflow to verify how it works:
  • Select a portion of the text and press Cntrl+1
    • Editor inserts specific characters surrounding a selected text
  • Press Cntr+1 again
    • Characters surrounding selected text are removed

The three graphics below show how the block-surround feature works for the above workflow

There are also alternative implementations with Cntrl+2 or Cntrl+3. These should be configurable in the future with character being inserted and removed via block surround.
